This is what 20-year-old student trainee Vanessa Sedlmeier says about her two bosses. However, she is not the only employee to exuberantly praise the company, in which everyone is on a first name basis. Now it is official: for the CEOs, it's always "Employees first" - this was (loosely translated) the name of the competition of the district, which was announced for the first time in 2017 and in which the company was among the leaders.

The company, which is one of the largest manufacturers of solid carbide cutters in Germany, has been in existence for 41 years. In 2014, the son of one of the founders, Andreas Vratny, together with his former fellow student Marius Heinemann-Grüder, took over the management of the company. The two are convinced of one thing: "In the past it was assumed that the best product would bring success. Today we know that only the best employees produce the best product". The strategy has paid off, as the entrepreneurs think, and the prize proves them right: "Of course, the profit makes us particularly proud," says Vratny.

The employees confirm that working in the company is a great experience.
